Matt and Misty

Matt is a personal friend of mine, just shy of ten years now.  We met while playing on our softball team together.  He is a good guy, not that I would admit that in public ;)   

The day I met Misty I just kinda knew Matt was smitten.  

They are adorable, they are my friends and that is why it is my honor to be able to take their photos.  August can not come soon enough!

This is me.

So you want to know who I am? 

 

I am a Mom, something I always knew I wanted to be. I have two amazing, beautiful girls, who do bring the drama some days, but I wouldn't want it any other way. My job as a Mom is the most rewarding job I have ever had, I love getting paid in hugs and kisses. I hope to make my kids proud of me and of course I want to embarrass them along the way!

I am a Wife. I married a man that I never thought existed, and yet we found each other at a bowling alley, of all places. He 'won' me on a 'bet', and has never looked back! We were married in 2005 in my hometown of Royal Oak, MI and then we made his hometown Adrian, MI our home together. He is my biggest fan, and I am his. This is what keeps us strong. I love my husband for the man that he is and strives to be. He is a wonderful dad, and I hope we have many years of life together!


I love to laugh and love it even more if I can make others laugh. I am obsessed with the color purple, so much so I should probably get some therapy for that!! Softball is my sport and I am really dreading the day I can no longer play. I will only watch scary movies if the sun is out and shinning! I love cinnamon scented candles. Coffee has become my best friend since having kids! If I could afford it I would be in school all the time, I love the feeling of learning something new! I love Harry Potter and if Hogwarts was a real school I would totally go there. I really try not to take life too seriously because it is way too short! My dream vacation is Australia, and someday I hope to go there.

I am a Michigan based photographer.

 I love photography and it has always been my dream job! To have a camera in my hands is like having breath in your lungs, it just makes me feel so alive and I love having that feeling every day! I love to capture great shots, that will evoke a feeling or a smile across your face. Life moves too fast sometimes, and my camera helps to create a moment in time to last forever, and I am great-full to be a part of that moment.
