March's Weekly Photos

March is finding its way in to Michigan beautifully.
I feel like I am doing better then I hoped with these photos.  More then that I am loving it more and more with every photograph :)
Week 10: Quote.  The quote I live by is "Be kinder then necessary, for you don't know what battles someone else is facing."

Week 11: Heirloom.  This was my great grandmothers it belongs to my Mother now, I just think its beautiful.

Week 12: Spring.  I found this budding lilac bush and that makes me happy, because its my favorite scent in the spring!

Week 13: Body Parts.  The legs of a woman have amazing stories, what they hold up and where they go.

February Weekly Photos

I am really loving the journey of these photos.  I feel like I am seeing a change in my photos and I am loving what I am seeing. I can't wait to watch my growth as the challenges continue.
Week 6: The View.  Watching my girls grow up :)

Week 7: Heart.  My family has my heart, and I wear these rings to represent them.

Week 8: Music.  This puts amazingly beautiful music in my heart!

Week 9: Black and White.  The words of the Bible are in black and white.

January's Weekly Pictures

I belong to a local photography group, which is a group of photographers (both professional and hobbyists) who just enjoy helping each other and talking about photography.  A few of us got together to create a 52 week photo project.  What this means is that every week we are given a specific theme and we are to interpret that through a photograph. These are my January's photos.  Enjoy.

Week 1: Technology. I LOVE my music player, music inspires me!

Week 2: Toys. They play and I can't help but "play" too :)

Week 3: Cozy.  This makes me VERY warm and cozy in the cold winter months.

Week 4: Secrets.  I am a Harry Potter LOVER, and I secretly want to go to Hogwarts!

Week 5: Spice.  Because I am the Mother to two girls, I just couldn't help myself ;)

A personal milestone

Over the weekend our oldest daughter turned 5.  Yep, 5!  I wasn't really ready, but it came anyway.
She is going to be in Kindergarten in just a few more short months.
Oh, I cried, and my ever loving husband just laughs at me when I do.

Yep, she's a keeper :)

We ended up going up to my brother and sister-in-laws house for the day.  The cousins got to play and run around together.  They totally adore each other!  Then we went to dinner to celebrate such a BIG birthday.

Then we went back to the house to celebrate with a cake, that she HAD to decorate by herself.
She is amazing, and I am beyond blessed that I get to be her Mom!
