Bradley & Danielle: A Fall Engagement

I met Danielle a few years ago playing softball together.

Her friendly personality and infectious smile led me to know she and I would lead into being good friends!

Danielle met Bradley at a bar, when she put her number into his pocket and she told him to call her!

 Hello!  How can you not love that!

I remember when they started dating.

I liked Bradley right away!  How could you not?  He complimented her in all the right ways.

When she talked about him, her smile got bigger and the rest became history.

Bradley asked Danielle to marry him while they were visiting friends and family in Boston, Mass.  They were on a boat when he got down on one knee.  Bradley had planned the moment out for weeks in advance and she was happily surprised! 

They wanted water to be a part of the photos, it is a personal touch from such a happy moment in their story.

 They are getting married on August 8, 2015 in Blissfield, MI.

 

 Danielle is a 6th grade teacher and High School varsity softball coach and Bradley is in home restoration.

They wanted photos in the snow, but it's Michigan and our weather is so unbelievably 

unpredictable.  So we agreed to do photos even without the cold stuff!

Yep, this wedding is going to be so fun and I can't wait to watch your lives grow together!

Engagement: Melissa & Chris

They met through friends while wine tasting.  He, the vegetarian.  She, maker of a mean fruit pizza.  

He is a musician and she protects our gorgeous Great Lakes.

 When they contacted me and sent me to their wedding website to learn all about them, I just knew I had already fallen in love with their love story.

Meet Melissa and Chris, who will make their debut as Mr. and Mrs. in July 2013.

Clearly they are a gorgeous couple!

She is from Wisconsin, but I can forgive her for being a cheese head because she is AWESOME!

According to Melissa, her Mother loved a specific fern plant more then Melissa for her whole childhood.....thus, this awesome picture :)  Sadly, the fern plant has recently passed!

I am greatly looking forward to their wedding day in July!  You can just tell it is going to be EPIC!

Engagement: Dan & Jessica

 Jessica and Dan met through a mutual friend while playing Rock Band.
The friendship grew into something more. ;)

 This wedding is going to be so Ah-Mazing!

I should also say that Jessica is my cousin, and I am ecstatic that Dan is joining our family!

 

Jessica is a music teacher so I knew this would be a really fun idea ;)

They invited me to shoot these photos in their home, which is historic and stunning!

This is Dook, he likes to photo bomb when necessary :)

Jessica requested a few photos on the front porch, how could I deny!

My heart is fluttering over these two.

This was Dan's only request :)

A genuinely happy couple.

She is also a fantastic photographer, but she can totally rock the other side of the camera!

Yep! They are so blessed to have each other.

May you always love each other more today than you did yesterday, but not as much as you will tomorrow :)

Cynthia & Gerardo: Engagements

She is a teacher and he works in a factory.  However, their paths crossed at McDonald’s where they both work part-time.  They are in the process of buying their first house together, planning a wedding, and still working two jobs.  They are so fun and full of spirit.  They are happy and I love how they react to each other.  I can’t believe that I will have the honor to photograph their wedding, to share in the day that will make them one.

Oh, my.....HELLO GORGEOUS!!!

By far, the best moment!  I love couples that laugh together, it is the best ever!

I totally see some totally adorable babies in the future ;)

Matt and Misty

Matt is a personal friend of mine, just shy of ten years now.  We met while playing on our softball team together.  He is a good guy, not that I would admit that in public ;)   

The day I met Misty I just kinda knew Matt was smitten.  

They are adorable, they are my friends and that is why it is my honor to be able to take their photos.  August can not come soon enough!
