I met the Ricker family 5 years ago when my husband worked with Ben.
Our families quickly because friends and its been a really great friendship since :)

I have taken their family photos before and we always have a good time!

Grace is 7 and Jennifer is 5!

So my two daughters are 25 months apart.

Their Birthday's are a mere three weeks apart.

My girls always fight me when it comes to getting them in front of my camera.

They used to think it was fun, now they find it tedious.

 This is often referred to as 

"photographer mom problems" ;)

So in a super short session and MAYBE a little bit of bribery,

my girls had their 7 and 5 year pictures taken!

This is what I am talking about.  She poses herself and I just run with it!

And again!  Well, at least she is really cute!

And she also thinks she is funny :)

YES!  A real one :)

And then there is this one who, at 5, knows everything about everything all of the sudden.

But, again, at least she is really cute with a "cheese"!

Nice try Jenni, but I need a real smile! ;)

Yep, they are mine, for real!

OMG, then this moment comes along and I die!

But I like it in both B&W and color *sigh*

I am loving this moments in life!

 

 I am blessed they are mine and I hope someday they see themselves through my eyes and they will see how smart, beautiful, strong and amazing they are!  I hope they know they can do anything it is they want to do and that they don't allow anything or anyone to get in their way.  I hope they don't break to many hearts along the way and in turn theirs is not broken to many times.  I hope that everyday they give the best of themselves because if they don't, the world will be missing out!

Life is moving to fast!

Hello Miss Mara! 
Mara is a stunning six year old and I got the honor of having her in front of my camera! 

Last year I posted a few photos of my oldest daughter and her bestie as they left the comfort of preschool and moved on to Kindergarten at different schools.

Here it is one year later, the besties are turning six (their birthdays are 3days apart) and they are surviving Kindergarten at their separate schools.  My favorite part is that even though they are meeting and making new friends they both still refer to each other as their best friends. 
This makes a Mommy heart flutter.

I might cry while looking and writing about these photos so please forgive me if you see a few of my tear drops on the screen! ;)

This girl can rock any outfit with that smile :)

We added a little sister to the mix.....who now goes to preschool with my youngest :)

We threw in a bestie for good measure!

Don't let the little sisters fool you, they are besties also!  They like to throw out an attitude once and a while :)

Thank you for looking through my photos and I am pretty darn sure you will see all of these girls again.....soon ;)  They are totally like our sisters now!

Sophia the ADORABLE.

Meet Sophia.  

Sophia just celebrated her six month birthday and I got to photograph her for this milestone.  

Let me tell you that she was an angel to work with!

She smiled and giggled at me the whole time, I swear her Mom and Dad were not behind me at all

Anyways, here she is.......oh and I TOTALLY threatened to keep her!!

I can just hear her giggle.

Those eyes, I have a feeling, are going to get her just about anything she desires!

Elise!

This is Elise.  She is soooooo cute!  I had the privilege of photographing her last summer.  She loves water, airplanes, the chicken dance, and playing peek-a-boo on Mommy's phone.  She is so smart already and she is only 1 1/2.  The world better be ready for this awesome, beautiful girl :)

She found the water and loved it.  Lots of splashing going on :)

Besties For Life

This is my oldest daughter and her bestie!  I know they are only 5 years old, but I think they have known each other FOREVER.  They met last year in their preschool class, they are both older sisters with a younger sister at home AND their Birthday's are only 3 days apart.  Hello, they were totally meant to be besties, RIGHT?

They will always have each others back!

 I think this quote fit just perfectly!

I am grateful my daughter picked an amazing girl to be her friend!

I love watching them giggle.

They are going to different schools for kindergarten :(

But, we will keep close and have lots of dates, we Mom's promised!
